I have always been surrounded by art. My grandfather was a nationally celebrated Adirondack watercolorist and a high school art teacher. Our house was filled with his paintings and stained glass projects my mother made. It felt natural to major in art and education in college. I attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY and studied abroad in Florence, Italy. It was so incredible to be surrounded by amazing architecture and masterpieces. I attended The College of Saint Rose for graduate school, where I concentrated on printmaking, and, in particular large woodcuts. Below are two 2' x 4' woodcuts and a sketch for a print.
I have a passion for art and I love sharing my enthusiasm with your student!
